Just when you thought World Cup excitement was over, things are getting more interesting by the minute.
Apparently, according to CNN (on 7-7-19), Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan and Ali Krieger are not attending a potential White House visit following the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup championship. President Trump said he hasn’t really thought about inviting the team. And, not to be outdone, there is talk of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others in the House of Representatives possibly hosting a USWNT celebration visit in the nation’s capitol. Stay tuned.
